So are you here after searching for a new pet and the first thing you saw in a pet shop was those living jewels- The ornamental fishes!

Is it really good to keep a fish tank in our homes? 

So as they are called the Living jewels... The ornamental fishes are actually captive bred varieties of the wild fishes.  
 
So fish the best pets? 
The answer can neither be a complete yes nor a complete no. 
It depends on what you expect from a perfect pet.

• They act as Stressbusters. Staring to the slowly swimming fishes for some time can really make you feel relaxed. 

• They evoke a sense of responsibility in small children. If you assign your child to feed and take care of the fishes they will really get the real meaning of Responsibility. 

• Fish keeping can be a great hobby for any age group. 

• Fish keeping is one of the most followed hobbies all over the world. 


•College students in dorms, nursing home patients, apartment dwellers, even the most crowded school classrooms all have space for a mini aquarium.
